Saw Donna the Buffalo last night in Bayshore.

Fantastic show, always a fun band to see.

That's my 2 cents.

Herd of 'em?

They're headlining one of the nights at Floydfest next July, always been a FF crowd favorite.

I think we're up to $.09

hehhehheh

I've got to put Floydfest on the calendar once again . . . some day it will happen!

A duo called the Stacks opened and were pretty darned good, especially once they got warmed up.

Saw them a few months ago at Ram's Head Onstage in Annapolis a few months ago. Great show.

I gotta check my calendar. I think I have a Greensky Bluegrass shindig coming up soon.

any band that will tackle Gordon Lightfoot's 'Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald' is cool with me.

Use to see them in the mid 90's at an annual private party in the woods of NC, they would come down from NY in their bus and jam throughout the night.I love the percussion and accordion and organ vibe. My favorite memory is a private Wedding they played in 10/3/97 at an equestrian center, we partied with them between sets.Good people good vibe all around.

The night before I also saw them at a bar ,not the best recording but a nice story! https://archive.org/details/donna1997-10-02.shnf

I think they may still be using the same bus! The bus parked out back of the Theater was old, dirty and had plenty of miles on it! Nearly as beat up as the Hammond organ they haul around.

They use to pull up in primitive camping areas at our Reunions, they sold their tee shirtsfrom the bus. The Band would also mingle with campers and jam throughout the night! great times! Cool band.

Cool - They do seem really down to earth.

They've been through a couple of buses and band members over the years. They used to have a 1963 GMC, nicknamed Rajah. Now, they have a Prevost bus that, if rumor is correct, used to be used by Toby Keith.

The current lineup is incredible. Probably the tightest in 10 years (been seeing them since 1996).

They do four of their own festivals every year...

Virginia Key Grassroots in early February down in Miami.
Shakori Hills Grassroots in April and October outside of the Raleigh/Durham area.
And the Fingerlakes Grassroots in July in Central NY.

I've been hitting the Fingerlakes version since 1994 (only skipping 1995 and 2008). It's my understanding that the Fingerlakes Grassroots Festival is the largest non-commercially sponsored festival in the country. And it's like no other festival! Love it.
